Leaving was harder ...

                 South Sudan Blog Post #1 for Oct. 2012
I don't know where to start with this blog, so I just will.  I just experienced another life-changing 2 weeks at an orphanage in Yei, South Sudan.  I also spent even more time in the community this time than I did a year ago, when I made my 1st 2-week trip.

I want to share so much, so I will share over a series of blogs:
- seeing the orphans again.  The fingerprints they left on my heart.
- the community.  A baby chick may be named after me!
- the women's and children's hospital and clinic on the orphanage grounds.
- what I did over the 2 weeks. Observing classes, leading devotionals, teaching Sunday classes, leading an all-school inservice, observing the high school, dramas in "chapel" class.

- The "Australian" connection.  I tried vegemite!
- giving blood.

- school visit from the South Sudanese Government Minister.
- more, I am sure.  And, now what? What's next?  When?
